At New Valley Church, our vision is to see as many people as possible transformed by the Gospel. We believe that serving and evangelism are essential to that vision. With that in mind, the primary goal of No More Spectators is to see every believer in New Valley church serving within their giftings on a regular basis. These giftings can be exercised within the church (“Come and See”) and outside the church among the community (“Go and Tell”). This is in line with New Valley’s vision to see believers living and serving for the sake of the Gospel.
Opportunities:
Welcoming Team - reflect God’s love with every hello and demonstrate that every person is valued and cared for; help people find where they are going and find the coffee
Usher Team - welcome people in to the worship space and help them find a seat; help with offering and communion
Parking Team - the parking team is the first smile people see on a Sunday morning
Production Team (sound/lights) - help make Sunday morning look and sound great as we proclaim the Gospel each and every week
New Valley Kids* - serving kids and serving parents with kids
Worship Team - play music to the glory of God - Thursday night practices
*requires background check
People on most Sunday morning serve teams commit to serving 2 Sundays per month and serve team leaders schedule serving times around availability each month.
